Individualised Homoeopathy in Managing Hyperuricaemia and Gout: A Case Evidence

Abstract

Gout is a painful metabolic arthropathy caused by the deposition of monosodium urate crystals in joints, stemming from persistent hyperuricaemia. While conventional treatments effectively manage acute flares and lower uric acid levels, they are frequently associated with adverse gastrointestinal and renal side effects. Homoeopathy offers a holistic alternative by utilizing individualized remedies selected on the totality of symptoms to treat the underlying metabolic predisposition. This case study demonstrates the therapeutic efficacy of individualized homoeopathy in a patient suffering from recurrent gout and elevated serum uric acid levels.
