Abstract

AI and AR have emerged as transforming forces, basically redefining consumer behavior and digital shopping experiences. Augmented reality could facilitate the full-degree immersive e-commerce experience, such as virtual try-ons and outfit visualizations, whereby customers could gauge fit, style, and color from the comfort of their homes. This gets topped by AI with regard to more personalized experiences through smart style recommendations, size-prediction algorithms, and automated virtual assistants.
The study investigates the interactive effect of AR and AI in apparel e-commerce, underlining how these technologies together enhance customer engagement in decision-making in social shopping environments. The innovations include a virtual fitting room and AI-powered fashion recommendations, demonstrating the influences of using digital tools on customer satisfaction by showcasing enhanced conversion rates and strengthening brand loyalty. In addition to that, the study discusses recent developments concerning integrations of social media that amplify interactive shopping experiences. It also looks into challenges related to the adoption of technology: ethical issues, data privacy, and long-term viability. All in all, the discussion underlines how AR and AI are the courses of evolution that will shape digital fashion retail and the future of consumer–brand interactions in online marketplaces.
