Abstract
This convergent parallel mixed-methods study examined the extent to which Radiologic Technology Enhancement Program (RTEP) predicts Radiologic Technology Licensure Examination (RTLE) performance among graduates of a private higher education institution in Davao City. The quantitative phase involved 100 recent graduates of the academic year 2024 to 2025, while the qualitative phase included 10 purposively selected participants. Descriptive statistics, Spearman correlation, and general linear modeling were used to analyze the quantitative data, while thematic content analysis was applied to the interview narratives. Findings showed that both RTEP and RTLE performance were at a moderate level overall, with stronger results in Patient Care Management and Radiographic Positioning and Radiologic Procedures, and comparatively lower scores in Radiation Physics and Image Production and Evaluation. A very strong positive relationship was found between RTEP and RTLE performance, and the enhancement program significantly predicted licensure examination outcomes. Qualitative findings revealed three major themes: reconstructing academic preparedness through knowledge reinforcement, developing disciplined and strategic study behaviors, and developing resilience and adaptive test-taking behaviors. The integration of both strands showed strong convergence, indicating that enhancement programs helped strengthen foundational knowledge, improve exam strategies, and build confidence for licensure examination success. The study concludes that RTEP is a valuable institutional strategy for improving RTLE readiness and performance.
